Bruce Springsteen has long been known as a rock star who doesn’t shy away from politics, and some of his most powerful songs make that very clear. One of his most recent political statements came in the form of the song ‘Streets of Minneapolis.

President Trump on Thursday called for his core supporters to boycott Bruce Springsteen’s concerts after the rock legend announced a “ political and very topical ” U.S. leg of his tour.

"We are living through some very dark times," he told the crowd mid-show, according to Variety.
